Ryan was able to enjoy some snuggle time with her in the morning for an hour - before she went back to sun tan. Her bilirubin is continuing to drop - and they are hoping to have her out from under the lights by tomorrow.
It was decided to keep her on the CPAP over the weekend - to give her a chance to catch up with her oral feedings before she has to do all the work of breathing on her own. She is up to 8ml of breast milk every 2 hours. They have been increasing feeds by 1ml every 2 hours. They want her up to 16ml every 2 hours.
Around 5pm they were able to come in and put her PICC line in.
Lorissa was able to have a few minutes of snuggle time; while they changed out her bedding; and tuck her into bed for the night.
She gained another 30g - so is up to 1280g. :)
We also noticed today that her hips seem to be loosening and she is moving her legs more now than she had been.
