When we came in today - Anna was back on the CPAP. She went back on about 1:30 a.m. when it just became a little too much work for her! She was just shy of 36 hours breathing all on her own - quite an accomplishment for a little 2 lb-er.
Lorissa was able to have a nice hour long snuggle with Anna - which was good since it was her baby blue day - and she needed the snuggles.
We met with the nephralogy doctor regarding her left kidney. It is either somewhat blocked or refluxing urine back into the kidney. They have ordered a dye test to be done to see what is happening. Either way, she is too small to do anything about it now - so they will just be watching it. They started her on an antibiotic in case urine is refluxing back into the kidney to ensure she does not get an infection.
Anna was still under the lights - although her bilirubin is improving.
One of the nurses made Anna a cute little momento!

Today was a fairly quiet day for Anna - although she had lots of visitors!
For those of you who would like to visit. Visiting hours are 11-8. We ask that you let us know when you would like to come - so we can make sure it works. Kids under 16 are not allowed,
We also found out in the evening that Anna has surpassed her birth weight (1220g)! Yay! She is now 1251g!

"Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! I will praise the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being."
Psalm 146:1-2

A nurse did that when our little guy was in the ICN, so cute! Praying for growth and a quick homecoming!
